How long are sessions?
Our typical talk therapy sessions are 45 minutes. Psychiatric evaluations for medication take approximately 1.5 hours, and medication management runs between 20 and 30 minutes. Our assessment appointments vary depending on the evaluations requested.
How does the billing process work?
We will verify your insurance coverage on the first call and explain your payments in an email. A credit card will be secured for co-payments.
Is it possible to change my appointment?
Absolutely, as long as you give us a minimum of 24 hours notice. We also understand emergencies don’t always allow for prior planning, so our therapists will do their best to reschedule. However, after 3 late cancellations, a full session charge will apply.
Do you take my insurance?
We accept most major insurance plans, making therapy and evaluations more accessible for families. Please note that BCBS Omnia is not currently accepted. Contact us to verify your specific insurance benefits and coverage.
What assessments do you offer virtually?
We offer comprehensive ADHD evaluations through convenient, secure electronic multi-rater questionnaires completed by parents, teachers, and caregivers. Each assessment is carefully scored and interpreted by a licensed clinician, with clear feedback provided in a detailed report to guide next steps and treatment planning.
Our Sensory Processing Evaluations help identify sensory seekers and sensory avoiders, supporting targeted occupational therapy interventions. This process also begins with easy-to-complete online questionnaires that provide efficient, accurate insights into your child’s sensory profile.
In addition, we provide a wide range of remote psychological and developmental assessments, including autism screenings, anxiety and depression evaluations, developmental assessments, personality testing, and career exploration tools. Our virtual assessment services are designed to deliver accurate, timely results while making the process simple and accessible for busy families across New Jersey.
